ALGERIA

The Algerian Ministry of Commerce has made it mandatory to all importers that a certificate of conformity or “Certificat de Contrôle de Qualité” is to be submitted to ensure that imported goods meet Algerian quality requirements. Baltic Control® is a fully accredited EN 17020 inspection body and thereby approved to issue the COC needed for Algerian Customs clearance.

EGYPT

Baltic Control is approved by the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) for the inspections of their imports of Wheat and Vegetable Oils from various origins (Russia, Ukraine, Romania, France, Turkey, Argentina, USA) according to Letter of Credit conditions and Egyptian Import standards.

ETHIOPIA

Baltic Control® fulfills the requirements of the Ethiopian Ministry of Trade in connection with third party inspection of products included in the list of Ethiopian Standards under the following groups:

INDIA

USED MACHINERY

Baltic Control® is approved by the DGFT (Directorate General of Foreign Trade) to issue Chartered Engineers Certificate for used machinery exported to India. In order to process the CEC a physical inspection of the machinery and valuation has to be done prior to shipment by our chartered engineers.

SCRAP

As per Public Notice 47/2015-20 issued New Delhi, 14.12.2016, Baltic Control International Ltd., UK has been approved to certify import of scrap to India under regulations covered by Public Notice 12/2015-20 dated 18.05.15.

Baltic Control International Ltd., UK is approved to certify shipment from UK, Ireland and Russia.

PAKISTAN

MINFA

Baltic Control® is on the panel of Pre-shipment Inspection Agencies of the Department of Plant Protection under the Ministry of National Food Security and Research of the Government of Pakistan. This approval allows Baltic Control® to issue inspection certificates required for the export of pesticides, insecticides, fungicides, rodenticides to Pakistan. Through our worldwide network these services are available on a global basis. This service is provided to exporters as well as to the importers depending on contractual terms and conditions between the parties involved.

SOLAR PANELS

Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) has appointed Baltic Control® for verification of the conformity of solar panels and inverters before shipment to Pakistan. It is the objectives of PSQCA to protect consumer and environment, assure conformity and finally to ensure faster release of goods at the customs offices at the entry points at the Pakistani borders.

SOUTH SUDAN

IMPORTANT: Effective from October 25th, 2022, CoC must be presented for all the shipments at the border points, otherwise Penalty of 15% CIF value of the cargo will be charged.

SOUTH SUDAN NATIONAL BUREAU OF STANDARD SSNBS
CONSIGNMENT BASED CONFORMITY ASSESSMENT (CBCA)

South Sudan National Bureau of Standard (SSNBS) has appointed Baltic Control® for verification of the conformity of products before shipment to Republic of South Sudan.

PROCESS:

he exporter lodges a Request For Certificate (RFC) with the Baltic Control® offices according to the contact details stated in the document attached below. This request should include:

* Pro-forma invoice / final invoice / packing list / name and contact of the importer and exporter
* Conformity documents or test reports (issued by ISO 17025 accredited laboratory) that comply with the SSNBS/international standards
* Certificates related to the management of quality / safety system
* Information related to the location and provisional date for the goods for the performance of physical inspection of goods before shipment

BALTIC CONTROL® TEAM MISSION

1. The completed RFC along with the required documents must be sent to [email protected]
2. Baltic Control® reviews the information and the documents provided
3. Contact the customer / exporter to coordinate physical inspection
4. Send samples (if necessary) to ISO 17025 accredited laboratory for testing as per appointed standard
5. Baltic Control® verifies consistency and accuracy of data collected during the verification process. Upon satisfactory result and receipt of the final invoice and a transport document, a secured Certificate of Conformity (COC) is prepared, which is accepted by customs employees at the RSS border and the entry points.

SUDAN

SUDAN - SSMO
SUDANESE STANDARDS AND METROLOGY
ORGANIZATION

Sudanese Standards And Metrology Organization (SSMO) has appointed Baltic Control® for verification of the conformity of products before shipment to Sudan.

PVoC programme started on 2nd November 2015.

OBJECTIVES:

3. Faster release of goods at Sudan Customs offices at the Sudan borders and the entry points

PROCESS:

The exporter lodges a request for certificate with the Baltic Control® offices according to the contact details stated in the document attached below. This request should include:

* Pro-forma invoice / final invoice / packing list / name and contact of the importer and exporter
* Conformity documents or test reports (issued by ISO 17025 accredited laboratory) that comply with the SSMO/international/regional standards
* Certificates related to the management of quality / safety system
* Information related to the location and provisional date for the goods for the performance of physical inspection of goods before shipment

BALTIC CONTROL® TEAM MISSION

1. Baltic Control® reviews the information and the documents provided
2. Contact the customer / exporter to coordinate physical inspection.
3. Send samples (if necessary) to ISO 17025 accredited laboratory for testing as per appointed standard
4. Baltic Control® verifies consistency and accuracy of data collected during the verification process. Upon satisfactory result and receipt of the final invoice, transport document, CoA, phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin a secured Certificate of Inspection (COI) is prepared, which is accepted by customs employees at the Sudan border and the entry points.

VERIFICATION AT DESTINATION

Verification will be performed at destination by a Baltic Control® team when the goods reach Sudan entry points. Visual inspection of the condition of the shipment and goods packages whenever customs open a consignment.
